Privacy Policy

GetSuited is a marketplace for renting and buying real, physical formalwear — suits, jackets, and pants — fulfilled by local pickup or shipping. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. We keep it deliberately plain. We do not sell your personal information, we do not show third-party ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

1. Information We Collect

• Account details you provide — name, email, phone number, date of birth, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Business account information (for storefront sellers) — your business or store name, business address and location, and the store details shown on your public storefront, including your verified-business status.
• Identity verification — if you choose to verify, government ID, a selfie, and the verification result, collected through Stripe Identity.
• Payment and payout details — processed exclusively by Stripe and Stripe Connect. We store limited references (such as a customer or connected-account ID), not full card or bank numbers.
• Transactions — your rentals, purchases, and sales, including order history, pickup or shipping selections, and rent-to-own activity.
• Shipping and delivery addresses — the addresses you provide to send or receive items.
• Photos — images you upload for listings, item condition, pickups, returns, and disputes, as well as garment-measurement photos from the Tailored listing feature.
• Body-measurement and fit data — body-scan images are processed by our sizing provider (Bodygram) to estimate your measurements; we store the resulting measurements and fit profile. Motion-sensor readings used to level the camera are not stored or transmitted.
• Messages and content — in-app chat messages, plus reviews, ratings, profile bio, and other content you create.
• Customer support and dispute communications.
• Device and usage data — device information, IP address, basic diagnostics, a push-notification token, and location (including precise location) for distance-based features.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account, including business storefronts.
• Facilitate rentals, purchases, and sales between renters, buyers, listers, and stores.
• Process payments and payouts through Stripe Connect.
• Estimate your size and personalize the listings you see, using your fit/measurement data and location.
• Arrange pickup or shipping and deliver items to the correct address.
• Enable messaging, review and resolve disputes and damage claims, and verify identity (optional).
• Detect and prevent fraud and misuse.
• Send SMS verification codes and transaction and order notifications by push, SMS, and email.
• Operate, secure, debug, and improve the App.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share data only with the service providers that make GetSuited work, and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data.

• Stripe / Stripe Connect — payments, payouts, and optional identity verification.
• Bodygram — body-scan sizing and measurement processing.
• Twilio — SMS verification codes and notifications.
• Resend — transactional email (receipts, order, and payout notifications).
• Supabase — application backend, database, hosting, and secure server functions.
• Expo — push-notification delivery and app build/update services.
• Google — address lookup and maps/location (Google Places); Google Sign-In.
• Apple and Google — app distribution, sign-in, and basic platform crash diagnostics.
• Law enforcement or others — when legally required or necessary to protect safety, rights, or the platform.

4. Data Security

We use encryption, secure transmission (HTTPS), Stripe's PCI-DSS-compliant payment systems, and access controls to safeguard your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for platform operations, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Body-scan images and derived measurements are kept only as long as needed to provide and improve your sizing experience, and you can request their deletion at any time. Identity-verification details and payment data are stored securely by Stripe, not by GetSuited.

6. Children's Privacy

GetSuited is intended exclusively for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover such data, we delete it promptly.

7. Your Privacy Rights

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections to your information.
• Request deletion of your data, including body-scan data and measurements.
• Request a copy of your information.
• Withdraw consent for optional features, such as identity verification or the body scan.

8. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the App from the Profile page (Close Account). Some records may be retained where required for legal or financial compliance.

9. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites. GetSuited is not responsible for their privacy practices or content.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will show a revised “Last Updated” date, and for material changes we may ask you to review and acknowledge the update in the App.
