Welcome to GetSuited (“the Platform”), operated by GetSuited LLC. By creating an account, listing an item, or renting through GetSuited, you agree to these Terms of Service. 

1. General Use 

GetSuited LLC does not store any payment information. All payments are securely processed through Stripe. 

All users, both renters and listers, are required to complete ID verification through Stripe Identity to promote a safe and trustworthy community. 

Users must agree to these terms before accessing or using the Platform. 

GetSuited reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes through the app. 

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements 

You must be 18 years or older to use GetSuited. A simple age-confirmation checkbox or popup will appear during signup to confirm eligibility. 

Users under 18 are not permitted to list or rent formalwear through the Platform. 

3. Payments & Fees 

All payments are handled by Stripe. GetSuited LLC does not store or process card data directly. Listers receive 97% of the transaction amount (excluding Stripe processing fees). 

Renters pay a 7% platform fee, and GetSuited LLC retains 10% of the total transaction value as a service fee. 

In case of damages or failure to return an item, GetSuited LLC reserves the right to invoice the renter for the cost of repair or replacement. 

4. Listing & Rentals 

Listers are responsible for accurately describing their items, including condition, size, and photos. Renters agree to return items in the same condition as received on the agreed return date. 

Listers and renters are encouraged to upload photos of the item's condition immediately after pickup and before return as proof of quality and fairness. 

Late Returns may incur late fees or other penalties as described in the rental agreement.

5. Cancellations & Refunds 

Refunds and cancellations will follow the policies set forth within the app. 

Disputes can be submitted directly through the app using the “Dispute Request” form. GetSuited LLC reserves the right to review each case individually and issue refunds as appropriate. 

6. User Conduct 

Users agree not to misuse the Platform, including attempts to defraud, damage, or harass other users. 

GetSuited LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or any fraudulent activity. 

7. Liability 

GetSuited LLC acts only as a platform for peer-to-peer rentals and is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. 

Users agree to resolve disputes directly with the involved party through the in-app dispute process before seeking external action. 

8. Privacy & Security 

User data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, accessible via the app. Stripe handles all payment data securely under PCI compliance standards. 

ID verification through Stripe Identity ensures authenticity and promotes a trusted community. 

9. Location Services & Permissions 

GetSuited may request access to your device’s location services to provide location-based functionality such as showing nearby listings, determining pickup or drop-off proximity, and improving search results. 

Location data is only collected and used while you are actively using the app and is never shared publicly without your consent. 

Users can enable or disable location permissions at any time through their device settings. However, disabling location access may limit certain app features, including viewing local listings or arranging pickups. 

GetSuited does not store continuous location history. Any location data used for matching or delivery purposes is processed temporarily and securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
